This worldwide organization supplies spiritual and physical aid to needy people around the world.  Each year Calvary members pack hundreds of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child and serve as the collection point for all donations on the east side of La Plata County.

Current support is going toward Covid-19 relief. 

Support for an orphanage in Uganda.  School supplies, clothing and funding for buildings and building repairs have been sent in the past. 

Participation and support of this community leadership program provides for social change and help for needy families in the valley.  It houses the community food pantry, a free clothing closet and the children's Backpack project.  Community dinners, youth leadership development and elder care are other activities of the organization.

Calvary collects non-perishable foods each month to give to the local food pantry.

Members ring the bell for Salvation Army donations every holiday season.

Warm blankets and mittens or gloves are collected to give to homeless people and children in need.

Outgrown or old bikes are collected and repaired by a men's group.  With the help of school counselors, the “new” bikes are then distributed to needy children in the area at Christmas.

Area families are adopted and given gifts and food for the holidays through the generosity of Calvary Community Outreach.
